About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor, a leading provider of care and housing for older people. As a Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our luxurious care home, The Manor House Roundhay.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of Housekeepers to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained throughout the care home.
  • Ensure that cleaning products are used effectively and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure the care home is clean and safe for residents.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of cleaning equipment and report any issues to the Home Manager.
  • Work closely with the Home Manager to ensure that the care home meets the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to supervise and motivate a team of Housekeepers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
