Role Summary: -

This position is integral to the Supply Chain team, focusing on the Demand Planning process for assigned accounts. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure accurate business forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the senior demand planner in managing the Demand Planning process.
  • Oversee SKU and customer-level forecasts for your designated accounts.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to produce precise business forecasts.
  • Facilitate monthly demand reviews with the sales team.
  • Challenge forecast assumptions constructively to achieve consensus on total business forecasts.
  • Participate actively in the monthly S&OP process.
  • Coordinate with NPD, Marketing, and Finance to ensure effective planning for new product launches and key events.
  • Work with key retailers/customers to agree on collaborative forecasts for promotions and events.
  • Regularly assess and report on KPIs to monitor forecast accuracy.
  • Continuously seek enhancements in the demand planning process and implement best practices.
  • Support purchasing and supply planning to maintain optimal stock and service levels.
  • Assist Commercial Finance in the business cash-up process.
  • Incorporate social and environmental objectives into all aspects of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in FMCG is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in Advanced Excel, including functions like Pivot Tables and Vlookups.
  • Adept at working with large data sets and translating data into clear insights.
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Skilled in preparing and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to changing demands.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and implementing best practices.
  • ERP experience is advantageous.
  • A genuine passion for pets is essential.
