Lead a Team of Support Workers and Deliver Exceptional Care

Lifeways Group is seeking a dedicated and ambitious Care Team Leader to join our team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of support workers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers to ensure excellent care and support is delivered
  • Recruit and develop support workers through staff supervisions, candidate interviews, and guidance
  • Communicate effectively with staff, individuals we support, and external professionals
  • Manage staff rotas and ensure adequate staffing levels
  • Contribute to the development of care plans and ensure their implementation
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Senior Support Worker or Care Team Leader
  • NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Driving licence and access to a car
