Position Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager within our EU Digital Accounting team. This role is pivotal in supporting the growth initiatives of our digital product offerings.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various departments including Tax, Legal, Finance, and Technology to address Amazon Digital matters.
- Assist in business initiatives such as organizational restructures and the launch of products in new markets as we continue to grow.
- Navigate through uncertainty with a strong ability to manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring high-quality deliverables and clear communication.
- Engage in ad hoc, cross-functional projects that support business initiatives while ensuring compliance with accounting and tax regulations.
- Prepare a range of deliverables to meet both internal and external financial reporting requirements, including analytical commentary and supplementary financial analysis for management and stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cross-border accounting issues.
- Develop and maintain an efficient internal controls environment that aligns with Amazon's rigorous standards and practices.
- Utilize advanced computer skills, particularly in MS Office (Excel & Access), and demonstrate an understanding of system interdependencies. Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion Essbase, and database structures is advantageous.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, business, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience in a quantitative role.
- Proven experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical discipline.
- Background in various finance and accounting positions.
- An MBA or CPA is preferred.

Desired Skills
- Ability to identify incomplete or inaccurate data, determine root causes, and develop and implement escalation plans.
- Experience in delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting data results.
