About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Programme Director to lead the implementation of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR), a critical component of our comprehensive approach to changing the digital experience for our staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Programme to ensure the successful delivery of desired outcomes, benefits, and objectives.
  • Work closely with the Executive Chief Digital Information Officers at both Acute Trusts, Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), and executive leads.
  • Establish a programme management office that will ensure overall integrity and coherence of the programme.
  • Drive the success of this clinical transformation programme, which has high stakes and complexity.
  • Identify and manage risks and interdependencies.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent professional qualification or experience.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Health Leadership for digital change leaders.
  • IT Service / project management qualification ITIL, MSCE, MSC or equivalent; MSP, PRINCE2 or similar Agile training.
  • Substantial experience of large (multi-£million) EPR/EHR programmes, delivering digitally enabled change across public and private sector contexts.
  • Significant, proven experience of leading programme office teams with successful outcomes in a complex development environment involving major (> £75m capital value) infrastructure projects.
  • Strong, in-depth, experience of working in technology in both healthcare and the wider public sector.
  • Extensive significant experience of formulating long term, organisation-wide strategic plans and development of projects resulting in positive value for money outcomes.
