University Hospitals of Derby and Burton and Chesterfield Royal Hospital are embarking on a generational change in how we deliver patient care and this is the opportunity to come and lead it.
We are seeking an exceptional Programme Director to lead the implementation of a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR), a critical component of our comprehensive approach to changing the digital experience for our staff that will transform the way we deliver excellent care in Derbyshire.
Your ability to navigate challenges and build trust with a range of stakeholders, including multi-sector stakeholders, clinical teams, service managers, senior leaders, and individuals from all levels of the Trusts and Joined up care Derbyshire, will be critical to the programme's success. Moreover, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the programme's communication and engagement strategy to ensure the programme's vision is clearly communicated to a broad range of stakeholders.
This role works across two large acute trusts spread over 6 sites. It will be important to provide visible leadership across all of the areas where the EPR will be used.
This post is a 2 year Fixed Term contract.
Main duties of the job
As our ePR Director, you will be responsible for managing the Programme to ensure the successful delivery of desired outcomes, benefits, and objectives. You will work closely with the Executive Chief Digital Information Officers at both Acute Trusts, Senior Responsible Officer (SRO), and executive leads. You will establish a programme management office that will ensure overall integrity and coherence of the programme.
Your leadership will be instrumental in driving the success of this clinical transformation programme, which has high stakes and complexity. You must possess exceptional partnership and collaborative skills, as well as the ability to identify and manage risks and interdependencies.
