We are seeking an experienced and skilled Director of Guest Experience and Operations to join our team at a prestigious hospitality venue in Yorkshire. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guest interactions are handled with the utmost care and sophistication, embodying our commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Guest Experience Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall guest experience, ensuring alignment with our luxury standards.
  • Lead and Mentor Guest Service Teams: Lead and mentor the guest service and guest experience teams, fostering an environment of professionalism and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with Guests: Proactively engage with guests to build relationships, personalize their stays, and manage any issues that arise, ensuring all interactions contribute to a positive and memorable experience.
  • Oversee Guest-Facing Operations: Oversee the management of all guest-facing operations, including guest relations, reservations, and guest services, ensuring seamless integration and efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Global Directors: Coordinate with global directors and other departments to ensure that operations are guest-centric and that all special guest needs are met with the highest standard of service.

Requirements:

  • Hospitality Diploma/Degree: Hospitality diploma/degree with significant leadership experience in a luxury or five-star environment.
  • Leadership Experience: Prior experience leading a front-of-house team in a quality operation, preferably within an English country house setting.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with guests to ensure a personalized visit.
  • IT Systems: Proficient with Opera and other relevant IT systems, with a solid understanding of all social media platforms.
  • Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English, with impeccable presentation and an empathetic, resilient personality.
