Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Payment Processor to join our Finance team at Pepper Advantage. As a Payment Processor, you will play a critical role in delivering our industry-leading servicing proposition for our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process mortgage administration activities and other daily tasks with accuracy and timeliness
  • Manage payment processing activities, including uploading payments, reviewing bank statements, and administering refunds
  • Provide excellent customer service through daily interactions with customers and third parties via phone and email
  • Liaise with clients and represent Pepper Advantage appropriately
  • End-to-end servicing of mortgages from completion to redemption stage
  • Collaborate with the Primary Servicing team to ensure Service Level Agreements are met
Essential Skills
  • Experience in banking, accounting, and/or payment processing
  • Understanding of transactional activities related to mortgage/loan accounts
  • Ability to identify and execute account-level remediation while ensuring accuracy
  • Day-to-day decision-making with adherence to TCF requirements
  • Detail-oriented and able to work to tight deadlines
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to analyze problems, think creatively, and make effective decisions
