Position Overview:
NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. This role involves collaborating with a dedicated group of engineering professionals to support project management in the execution of a diverse portfolio of electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the Project Manager in overseeing the timely execution of a range of electrical-focused multi-discipline projects.
2. Engage in all phases of project development, from initial definition through front-end engineering, HAZOP, detailed design, construction, and commissioning.
3. Provide comprehensive project engineering support and communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved.
4. Manage modifications and changes in accordance with established management processes and compliance standards.
5. Analyze technical challenges and offer practical solutions to enhance project outcomes.
6. Lead and participate in electrical design reviews and technical studies.
7. Collaborate with the Engineering Technical Authority on technical specifications and deviation requests.
8. Support project cost management, scheduling, and efficient delivery of work scope.
9. Conduct audits and readiness reviews to ensure adherence to project delivery processes and milestones.
10. Facilitate stakeholder engagement by chairing project meetings and key forums.
11. Assist in the preparation of tenders and contribute to bid evaluations for significant work packages.
12. Help develop cost estimates and funding requests.
13. Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the project delivery framework.
14. Actively participate in safety and design reviews, as well as risk assessments.
15. Attend Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) to ensure quality assurance in construction activities.
16. Support project completions, including technical reviews and punch listing of modifications.
17. Champion safety standards within the organization and assist in incident investigations as necessary.

Qualifications:
- Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline (preferably with Chartered status or in progress).
- Strong background in project engineering within the electrical domain.
- Proven experience managing and delivering small to medium-scale multi-discipline projects.
- Knowledge of LV/HV electrical switchgear systems.
- Engineering and maintenance experience in regulated industries such as Oil & Gas or Petro-Chemical.
- Understanding of various engineering disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Civil, and Asset Integrity.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation including Electricity at Work Regulations and BS7671 Electrical Wiring regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptable and proactive with a positive approach to challenges.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
