IT Disaster Recovery Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT Disaster Recovery Manager to join our team at Wales & West Utilities Limited. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies, and plans to ensure the continuity of our IT services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the IT Disaster Recovery Framework (ITDR) to ensure business continuity.
  • Review Business Impact Analysis (BIA) outcomes and align the Disaster Recovery framework, strategy, and plans.
  • Design and implement effective strategies to respond to IT and operational service disruptions.
  • Collaborate with Business Continuity Management (BCM) Governance Group and project stakeholders to test core IT systems and services.
  • Identify and mitigate IT business continuity risks.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes and standards.
  • Expertise in Disaster Recovery planning and execution.
  • Relevant degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Security.
  • Membership or certification in a reputable body such as the Business Continuity Institute (BCI) or Disaster Recovery Institute International (DRII).
