Experienced Quantity Surveyor Wanted for Highways Specialist Subcontractor

This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing highways specialist subcontractor as an experienced Quantity Surveyor. The company works on highways nationwide, specializing in traffic lights, roads signs, civil engineering, and EV charging ports. They have a dynamic team and offer a relaxed culture where everyone gets stuck in to get the job done.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects of various sizes, ensuring clear and accurate budgets are produced.
- Develop and implement the company's commercial strategy within projects and project the organization's ethos.
- Assist with developing, implementing, and adhering to the company's commercial strategy.
- Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.
- Ensure clear and accurate budgets are done at tender award and then monthly per project via Elite.
- Procure works to meet and exceed programme and ideally tender budgets.
- Prepare sub-contract documents for tendering.
- Manage client and subcontractor accounts.
- Weekly review and analysis of programme, progress, and cost monitoring.
- Change control management.
- Risk and opportunity management.
- Financial monitoring and reporting and liaising with the project team.
- Development and Agreement of Project Forecasts with Operational teams.
- Detailed commercial analysis of various outputs.
- Commercial support on tenders.
- Submission of monthly application for payments.
- Following the company-approved work procedures.
- Development and training of junior team members.
