Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing the kitchen operations at Hotel de France. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our culinary offerings meet the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in overseeing the overall kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support in planning, organizing, and directing kitchen activities.
  • Maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction through exceptional food quality.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including HACCP and allergen legislation.
  • Contribute to menu development and food presentation standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar culinary role.
  • Relevant internationally recognized culinary qualifications are preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Experience in pastry is essential, with a solid understanding of pastry techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing demands.
