A leading Housing Developer is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a timber frame project in the Staffordshire area. This role offers a fast-track progression opportunity to Senior Site Manager within 12 months for the right candidate.

Job Duties:
  • Manage and coordinate construction activities
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Supervise subcontractors and work closely with suppliers
  • Monitor progress and quality of work
  • Resolve any issues or delays that may arise
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
  • SMSTS certification
  • CSCS card
  • First Aid certification
  • NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Site Manager role with a PLC Housing Developer.

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of House Building
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
  • Proficiency in project management software
Working Conditions:

This role requires working outdoors on construction sites in various weather conditions. The Site Manager may need to work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
