The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and Repairs
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our properties, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
    • Identify and rectify maintenance issues promptly, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our residents.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to our residents, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
    • Work closely with the Customer and Night Teams to achieve the best results and solutions for our residents.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to ensure maintenance records and property documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new ideas and initiatives.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, reporting any hazards or incidents to the relevant authorities.
    • Assist on-site contractors to ensure completion of work and maintain health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Proven experience in facilities maintenance, with a focus on customer service and team collaboration.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Education
    • Relevant qualifications in facilities maintenance or a related field.
