What We Are Developing
An advanced electric vehicle charger along with a comprehensive software management system, featuring contactless payment options for both residential and commercial settings. We currently have functional prototypes undergoing testing and anticipate our initial installations with paying clients shortly.
Your Role
We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager who thrives in a start-up atmosphere. This position is hands-on, as you will be the inaugural sales representative in our organization.
Your Responsibilities
This role entails driving sales for our product. We have established a clear market pathway, including target demographics, value propositions, and commercial offerings, and we need someone to execute this plan effectively. Your tasks will include:
- Enhancing the customer value proposition and commercial offerings
- Collaborating with the team to refine existing proposals
- Creating relevant sales materials to support your initiatives
- Overseeing the sales process
- Developing a pipeline of potential clients
- Managing the bidding and sales processes
- Aligning our commercial offerings with customer expectations and post-sales support
- Tracking, measuring, and reporting
- Creating and maintaining regular reports against set objectives
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Working with team members to implement necessary changes
- Establishing a sales process that encourages customer feedback
Team Collaboration
You will collaborate with all team members. Our small team requires effective collaboration across various locations; the core business team operates from one region, while our product team is based in another, and we partner with several external software and hardware providers across Europe.
Qualifications
Experience & Skills
- Mid-level experience as a Sales Manager with a track record of success.
- Proven ability to build a sales pipeline from the ground up.
- Experience in drafting sales documentation and collaborating with marketing and operations teams to create a cohesive customer experience.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (such as HubSpot or similar) for managing sales processes.
- Strong communication skills for clear and effective interaction.
- Ownership mentality; you will be responsible for your area and its outcomes.
- Humility; we expect team members to learn from mistakes and adapt quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in building a sales pipeline from scratch.
- Prior experience in the Electric Vehicle and charging sector.
