Key Responsibilities of a Qualified Electrical Technician:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of electrical systems to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Perform repairs on electrical components as needed.
  • Execute installations of electrical fixtures and systems.
  • Install wiring, outlets, and switches in residential properties.
  • Rewire existing homes to meet current standards.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Replace and upgrade sockets as required.
  • Carry out inspections and testing of electrical installations.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
  • 2391 Testing and Inspection qualification.
  • NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 2 & 3.
  • JIB Gold Card holder.
  • Experience in social housing projects.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Valid Driver's License.
