Job Title: Aesthetic Field Service Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at Luton Bennett. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis.
  2. Provide reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area.
  3. Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
  4. Stock spares placed in the van overnight.

Requirements:

  1. Experience with plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment.
  2. Automotive technicians/motor trade will also be suitable.
  3. Engine diagnostics and some basic electrical skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Vehicle Technician looking to transition into a new industry with a local field-based role offering comprehensive on-the-job training, an extensive benefits package, and progression routes.

The role is suitable for engineers from any plant background, including cars, forklifts, HGV, agricultural, or similar equipment. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical service and repair skills, ideally with engine diagnostic and some basic electrical skills. No minimum qualifications are required for this role.
