Fixture Design Engineer

Recra Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Fixture Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing innovative and efficient fixture designs for various manufacturing processes.
As a Fixture Design Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to create detailed 3D models of fixtures using industry-leading CAD software. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the designs meet performance and efficiency requirements. Your expertise in hydraulic and manual fixture design principles will be essential in developing robust and reliable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D models of fixtures using industry-leading software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.
- Design hydraulic and manual fixtures with precision and accuracy, ensuring optimal functionality and durability.
- Create comprehensive 2D drawings of fixture components and assemblies, adhering to engineering standards and best practices.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and production personnel, to optimize fixture designs for performance and efficiency.
- Utilize your mechanical engineering expertise to enhance fixture functionality, durability, and overall design quality.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software (such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and design.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fixture design and engineering.
- Strong ability to generate detailed 2D drawings of fixture components.
- Familiarity with hydraulic and manual fixture design principles.
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and industry standards.
- Advanced skills in Excel for data analysis and documentation.
- Mechanical engineering background with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
