About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer - Fixture Design Specialist to join our team at Recra Consulting. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality fixtures and equipment for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Utilize industry-leading software to create detailed 3D models of fixtures and equipment, ensuring precision and accuracy in design.
  • Fixture Design: Design hydraulic and manual fixtures with a focus on performance, efficiency, and durability.
  • Documentation: Create comprehensive 2D drawings of fixture components and assemblies, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize fixture designs and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your mechanical engineering expertise to enhance fixture functionality and durability, ensuring compliance with company quality standards.
Requirements
  • CAD Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software (such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks) for 3D modeling and design.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in fixture design and engineering.
  • Skills: Strong ability to generate detailed 2D drawings of fixture components, familiarity with hydraulic and manual fixture design principles, and excellent understanding of engineering drawings and British Standard practices.
  • Education: Mechanical engineering background with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Soft Skills: Team player with self-motivation and adaptability to meet project demands.
