About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at ENWL. As a key member of our network operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of electricity to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on our network infrastructure, including high voltage cables and apparatus.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to identify and resolve faults, ensuring minimal disruption to our customers.
  • Participate in a 24-hour standby rota to provide emergency response and support to our customers.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company codes of practice.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
Requirements
  • Hold operational authorisations to act as a competent person.
  • Be in possession of a full UK driving licence.
  • Have experience and an understanding of utility records.
  • Hold a NRSWA (New Roads & Street Works Act) accreditation.
  • Be willing to work outside in all weathers.
  • Have experience excavating, backfilling, and reinstating to Highways Authorities and Utilities Committees (HAUC) specifications.
