About the Role

Sapiens UK is seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to provide end-to-end support to R&D and project initiatives in the life and pensions systems environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement end-to-end solutions for policy administration systems enhancements.
  • Analyze current system functionality to determine when enhancements are required and the best approach to meet business requirements.
  • Write and review Requirements and Design Documents to ensure timely delivery.
  • Act as a consultant in requirement and design workshops, engaging with Lead BA/PD/PM on project actions, assumptions, risks, issues, decisions, and constraints.
  • Support development throughout the build phase of projects, reviewing technical design specifications and test scripts.
  • Help define acceptance criteria and high-level estimates, working in accordance with Sapiens processes and best practices.
  • Provide clients with functional analysis and design advice, guidance, and consultancy in Sapiens' solution throughout the project.
  • Participate in peer review activities, interacting with business analysts to ensure quality and completeness of requirement and design work.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working as a technical/functional architect in life and/or pensions and/or annuity systems environment.
  • Proven experience as a technical/functional architect in integration projects, including policy administration systems and integration platforms.
  • Able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of life and pension products and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand business requirements and create implementable solutions that meet these requirements.
  • Experience in database-based systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively on a cross-functional and cross-geographic team.
  • Fluent English – both writing and verbal.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Excel, experience with other programming languages desirable.
