About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Solutions Architect to join our team at Methods. As a Technical Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and lead the technical architecture of client projects, including technology roadmaps, vision statements, and solution designs.
  • Assure the delivery of architectural artefacts, including estimations, solution options reports, and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical solutions meet business requirements and are aligned with industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior technical and delivery individuals within our customer organisations.
  • Provide technical leadership and assurance to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Contribute to the development of our architecture and engineering capability, including mentoring and coaching junior colleagues.
  • Participate in pre-sales activity, including developing solution approach summaries, high-level designs, and estimates.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in defining and leading technical architecture for large-scale projects.
  • Strong understanding of modern public cloud platforms and software engineering techniques.
  • Experience with architecture and design review of lower-level design architectures, supplier proposals, and other delivery team artefacts.
  • Ability to evolve and define the governance landscape within a project, client, and internal environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing Solution Architecture Board (SAB) or similar governance architectural review boards.
  • Ability to carry out technical knowledge transfer outcomes, including handover to clients and mentoring client staff.
