About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Rothay Garden Hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing the hotel's daily operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable guest experience.
  • Ensure efficient daily running of the Food & Beverage department.
  • Supervise and support the hotel team, including recruitment, onboarding, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with the management team to maintain and improve hotel standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Handle guest services, including check-in/check-out processes, resolving guest issues, and maintaining satisfaction.
  • Manage event and function operations, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.
  • Oversee administrative duties, such as stock control, inventory management, and ordering supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to ensure a motivated, high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Ideally a minimum of 2 years duty management experience in the hospitality/hotel sector, with the drive to step up in responsibility.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and motivate the team effectively.
  • Proven experience in delivering outstanding guest service with a passion for creating exceptional hospitality experiences.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and effectively prioritize in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with hotel software is an advantage, training on our systems will be provided.
  • Ambition and enthusiasm for growth, both personally and for the hotel.
