Site Foreman/woman

Stephen Grindrod Ltd are currently expanding and looking for experienced construction site foreman to come and join us.

We have a strong team and have worked on numerous prestigious builds, renovations, barn conversions and at present we have long term projects in the Ambleside and Rusland Valley area. Due to increased workload, we are now recruiting to add to the team.

Our company have the opportunity to work on some wonderful projects, and we specialise in heritage and conservation buildings, as well as modern bespoke buildings. Working alongside our long-established team you would be trained to work with new and interesting techniques essential to restoration works.

Working alongside our hands on Company Director and Project Manager, you need to have experience of managing construction sites and a small team. General computer skills required. Dealing with Clients and suppliers. Also someone who is happy to be hands on with the tools, doing tasks such as stonework, lime work, groundworks, operation of plant machinery, plastering, roofing just to name a few. If you have a passion for a particular area of the construction trade, we would allow you to flourish and showcase what you can achieve.

We are looking for conscientious individuals who possess a good work ethic to be part of a great team and have a good level of physical fitness.

Sub-Contractors will often be on site and you will need to work alongside them.

A full driving licence is required due to our work site locations.

Working days and hours are Monday to Friday 08:00 to 17:00.

**Salary**: Dependent on applicants experience

These are permeant, full time positions.

Employed or self employed.

Employed staff benefit from a company pension and 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays and a 2 week shut down over Christmas).
