Menzies Distribution Limited is seeking a part-time Warehouse Accounts Administrator to provide a first-class service in Normanton. The successful candidate will support the depot accounts team in collating and completing information on a weekly/monthly basis, as well as carrying out additional filing and general administration duties within the department.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the accounts team to understand customer and supplier requirements and expectations.
- Raise weekly and monthly sales invoices.
- Handle purchase invoices and statements, reconcile, and communicate with suppliers.
- Reconcile reports sent by accounts payable and credit control.
- Perform HR duties and responsibilities, including holidays, sickness, and absence records on Itrent.
- Set up new starters.
- Assist warehouse managers/supervisors with HR letters and support.
- Policing of colleague files in accordance with BRCGS requirements.
- Raise and monitor purchase orders in a timely fashion.
- Produce weekly reports.
- Investigate and resolve supplier and customer queries.
- Deal with ad-hoc procurement needs.
- Identify opportunities for and initiate continuous improvement projects.
- Administer PODs.
- Check revenue streams.
- General administration duties.
- Experience of accounts payable, invoicing, payroll queries, and HR administration.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly word processing and spreadsheet skills.
- Customer service-oriented.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in admin and accounts.
