Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at CEDAR GLEN PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on production machinery, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
  • Conduct pre-planned maintenance activities using a CMMS system to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests to resolve equipment issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the maintenance supervisor to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent mechanical maintenance engineer, mechanical fitter, or mechanical technician
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with colleagues and stakeholders
