At Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team, we're a group of passionate and driven individuals working together to design, develop, manufacture, and race the cars driven by seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton and Grand Prix winner George Russell.

We're a team that's all in and aspiring to build the greatest team in the history of our sport. No stone is left unturned in our pursuit of every tenth of a second. Our sport has a rich history, and we're continuing our journey with renewed effort year on year.

As a Technology Engineering Industrial Placement, you'll be an integral part of our team. We have 2 roles available: one focusing on creating or updating the technology used in the development of F1, and one working on exciting customer programmes in many sectors, including motorsport and aerospace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You'll have a strong background in mechanical engineering or physics-based disciplines and some knowledge of 3D CAD.
  • Flexibility in hours and approach is required, along with a 'can do', 'team-playing' attitude and the ability to work to strict deadlines under minimal supervision.
  • Hands-on experience in an engineering environment.
  • Clean sheet design using 3D CAD and simulation tools.
  • Project planning and workload management.
