Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a comprehensive and collaborative product research and development process, ensuring a consistent approach to capturing, analyzing, and presenting product research and development concepts.
  • Implement processes for product offerings across both public (fixed income and equities) and private/alternative asset strategies (including private credit, real estate debt and equity, and private equity), with a focus on how the firm's investment capabilities can be optimally positioned and distributed through various channels and regions.
  • Forge strong partnerships with colleagues across Client & Product Management, Investment, and Distribution teams by presenting commercial insights and engaging in effective discussions on product trends and options.
  • Monitor industry trends and market data across different regions and investor types to identify innovative new products that will enable the firm to expand and enhance its market share globally against competitors.
  • Engage in industry conferences and webinars to remain informed about new developments related to product types, regulatory frameworks, investor preferences, and other demand drivers.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Product Strategy and Development within the investment management sector or a consultancy.
  • Extensive knowledge across various asset classes.
  • Experience with private/alternative asset strategies is essential.
  • In-depth understanding of fund/product regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong academic credentials – a university degree is required.
  • CFA or other professional qualifications are advantageous.
