Job Summary

Mise en Place is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and drive business growth. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial and commercial performance of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and developing a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the restaurant's overall financial and commercial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and increase revenue.
  • Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Collaborate with the executive head chef and management team to develop and implement menus, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies.
  • Manage and oversee payment systems, petty cash, and ensure all bills are settled at the end of each day.
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that are clear and unambiguous.
  • Manage and oversee stock levels and supplies, ensuring that the restaurant is always well-stocked and ready to meet customer demand.
  • Develop and implement a code of conduct and company policies that reflect the values and culture of Mise en Place.
  • Manage and oversee the development of a high-performing team, including recruitment, training, and development.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, including customer feedback and complaint resolution.
  • Manage and oversee the restaurant's marketing and promotional activities, including social media, email marketing, and local advertising.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a senior management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, staff, and suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the hospitality industry and its trends.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.

Salary and Benefits
