Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to join our team in an NHS hospital in Sussex. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on medication management and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications in a variety of wards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check prescriptions for errors and ensure they are appropriate and safe for individual patients
  • Provide advice on medication dosage and form
  • Participate in ward rounds to take patient drug histories
  • Liaise with other medical staff on medication-related issues
  • Discuss treatments with patients' relatives, community pharmacists, and GPs
Requirements:
  • Previous wards-based experience is essential
