Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our multi-disciplinary team in Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in working with children and young people with complex mental health needs, and will be able to provide high-quality clinical supervision to psychology staff.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based psychological interventions to children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and cognitive assessments and formulate, plan, implement, and evaluate delivery of psychology interventions
  • Provide high-quality clinical supervision to psychology staff, including assistant psychologists and trainee clinical psychologists
  • Contribute to service development and project work, including the development of policies, protocols, and care pathways
  • Act as a practice assessor/supervisor/teacher in teaching, facilitating, and supporting pre-registration students and junior personnel
Requirements
  • Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology qualification or equivalent
  • Completion of an appropriate clinical supervision course
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • BABCP Accreditation
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of £55,877 to £62,626 per annum, inclusive of benefits. The successful candidate will also have access to ongoing training and development opportunities, as well as a supportive and collaborative team environment.
