Clinical Support and Operational Excellence

At Cobalt, we are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Clinical Support Specialist. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical environment and upholding the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Management and Reporting: Assist in conducting clinical audits, collating data, and generating KPI reports with meticulous accuracy.
  • Infection Prevention and Control: Collaborate closely with the Infection Control Lead to monitor and maintain a pristine environment for both patients and equipment. Ensure compliance with infection prevention and control protocols by completing necessary checklists.
  • Resource Management: Maintain accurate inventory records for clinical consumables, including those on the resuscitation trolley/bag. Ensure adequate stock levels of essential supplies, such as laundry items, beverages, refreshments, stationery, and marketing materials.
  • Team Support and Collaboration: Actively participate in clinical team meetings and provide insightful updates on your area of expertise. Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by supporting colleagues through induction, education, and clinical training initiatives.
  • Patient-Centered Care: Demonstrate a commitment to patient well-being by respecting their customs, values, and spiritual beliefs. Actively seek and consider patient feedback to enhance the quality of care provided.
  • Professional Development: Maintain up-to-date records of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities. Participate in appraisals and mandatory training programs to ensure ongoing professional growth.

Confidentiality and Data Protection: Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols, safeguarding sensitive patient information and organizational data. Comply with all relevant data protection regulations.

Teamwork and Integrity: Work collaboratively with other departments within Cobalt, fostering a culture of mutual respect and support. Champion the ethical values and integrity of our organization by adhering to corporate policies and procedures. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, contributing to their professional development.
