About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Investment Funds Paralegal to join our top-ranked team at EJ Legal Limited. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our lawyers and clients in the investment funds sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Preparation: Prepare and review fund documents, including private equity, private debt, real estate, and other investment funds.
  • Tracker Maintenance: Maintain trackers and checklists on various aspects of the funds process for a large number of investors.
  • Data Room Management: Prepare and manage virtual data rooms for clients and investors.
  • Document Review and Filing: Review, file, and circulate countersigned documents to clients, investors, and administrators.
  • Companies House Filings: Prepare and submit Companies House filings.
  • Corporate Authorizations: Draft corporate authorizations.
  • Regulatory Counsel Liaison: Liaise with specialist regulatory counsel.
  • Winding Up Searches: Carry out winding up / insolvency searches.
  • Opinion and Closing Bibles: Prepare opinion and closing bibles.
About You

We are looking for an experienced Investment Funds Paralegal who has:

  • LLB/GDL Qualification: Educated to LLB/GDL level (or equivalent).
  • Finance or Corporate Experience: Prior experience in finance or corporate/M&A is preferred, but not essential.
  • Key Skills: Experience of managing CP checklists, Companies House filings, and drafting board minutes is key.
