HGV Technician

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Venatu Consulting Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our heavy goods vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles, adhering to VOSA standards
- Perform diagnostics and defect rectifications to ensure vehicles are roadworthy
- Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections, ensuring all necessary checks are completed
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop, including inventory management
- Carry out repairs and maintenance on trailers, including tail lift repairs and axle work
- Proven experience in the HGV Technician field, with comprehensive vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards, essential for ensuring a safe working environment
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is desirable
