HGV Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Venatu Consulting Ltd. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers, ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards
  • Perform diagnostics and defect rectifications
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections
  • Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory
  • Tail lift repairs, curtain repairs, axle work, ABS/EBS work
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in the HGV Technician field, with comprehensive vehicle maintenance knowledge
  • A strong commitment to health and safety standards
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline
