Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Resident Liaison Officer to join our team at Howells Recruitment, delivering Planned Works in Social Housing in South East London.
About the Role: As a Resident Liaison Officer, you will be responsible for developing positive relationships with residents to provide information and support during refurbishment, maintenance, and major works programmes. You will prevent and limit dissatisfaction, resolve complaints and queries quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work on planned maintenance projects to ensure smooth delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the Decent Homes programme team to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Hold a full clean driving license with own vehicle to facilitate site visits and resident engagement.
- Conduct pre-entry visits and company inductions to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
- Collect tenancy agreement/approval forms to ensure accurate resident information.
- Visit tenants in their homes to advise them on work schedules and progress.
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, addressing any problems or queries promptly.
- Establish and maintain working relationships with neighbourhood housing associations.
- Visit properties being refurbished to advise potential tenants on completion dates.
- Attend and chair tenant forum meetings to keep residents informed about works being carried out.
