Position Overview:
Remedy Social Work is seeking an Experienced Child Welfare Specialist to become a vital member of our Children in Need team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a diverse caseload involving complex cases, exercising a high degree of independence.
- Offer specialized professional guidance to fellow Social Workers, management, and collaborative partners.
- Supervise and mentor junior Social Workers, facilitating effective caseload management and encouraging ongoing professional growth.
- Utilize a variety of assessment and intervention frameworks with proficiency.
- Exemplify and cultivate social work professionalism and efficient caseload handling among peers.
- Build and maintain a network of internal and external professionals to enhance practice effectiveness.
- Prepare comprehensive reports for court proceedings, serving as expert testimony in relevant cases.
- Engage in panel discussions and chair inter-agency meetings with stakeholders and clients.
- Generate management reports and conduct analytical assessments.
- Contribute to team strategy and assist in achieving departmental objectives.
- Ensure adherence to established standards, including the Social Work Professional Capabilities Framework at the Experienced Social Worker level.

Qualifications:
- A recognized Social Work qualification or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable legislation.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Registration with Social Work England.
