We are seeking a compassionate and motivated candidate to join our team as a Senior Support Worker - Learning Disabilities. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional support to individuals with learning disabilities, including brain injuries and autism.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead your team in outstanding practice and provide Practice Leadership in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), including trauma-informed approaches.
- Manage and develop people in your team, ensuring they meet targets and develop their skillsets and confidence.
- Support the service and unit through rota planning, risk assessments, and regular training of the team.
- Co-produce services, developing and maintaining professional relationships with support networks, families, colleagues, and external agencies.
- Support wider organisational risks, priorities, development, and projects.
- NVQ 3 in Social Care or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of the health and social sector and previous track record of supporting those with learning disabilities and autism.
- Experience working within a PBS focused setting.
- Great communication skills and a genuine passion for the care sector and helping people.
- Flexible to tasks and working hours, with a full UK driving license and own vehicle.
- Happy to work weekends on rotation and have the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
