Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

AGM Construction Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and analyze existing contracts and new tenders to support the commercial team.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Summarize contracts and provide guidance to the project team to ensure adherence to contract specifications.
  • Prepare and submit accurate and timely applications and invoices.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Review and complete monthly cost analysis reports, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Liaise with the project management and sales teams to identify and capture variations to contracts.
  • Assist with the management of project delay notices and financial implications.
  • Liaise with clients and project managers to ensure smooth handover of completed works.
  • Deal with subcontractors' accounts, including negotiating and raising purchase orders and agreeing monthly valuations.
  • Support the management team with contract disputes and negotiations.
  • Attend client meetings to support the team with site issues, financial disputes, or contractual agreements.
