CAD Design Engineer

AWE Plc Careers is seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Applied Warhead Engineering Team. As a key member of the team, you will apply your expertise in CAD design to support the engineering design and development of in-service and future warheads.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Product Design Engineers looking for a fresh challenge or for qualified Precision Machinists with CAD experience looking to further their career.
About the Role:As a Warhead Mechanical CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for warheads. You will work closely with the Applied Engineering Group to research, develop, and implement new technologies to improve the capability and efficiency of design, simulation, manufacture, and testing.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, from concept design to production, and will be expected to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results.
