Job Title: Commercial Supply Chain Planner

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Saint-Gobain Abrasives. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for coordinating demand and inventory needs across Northern Europe and the UK.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and conduct demand reviews up to the level of key accounts
  • Responsible for month-end forecast cleansing process within Futurmaster software
  • Implement small-mid customer-driven projects, including SRF, range reviews, or implementing new customer requirements
  • SAP Material Master setup for new product introductions
  • Support the implementation of a World Class Manufacturing (WCM)/Lean culture within the UK Supply Chain and Warehouse teams by leading projects
  • Analyze supply chain cost and efficiency
  • Complete complex pieces of analysis, across all aspects of the supply chain, including customer profiling, SKU order profiling, lead time/fragmentation performance
  • Coordinate vendor performance improvements across all deliverables outlined within our Vendor Manual
  • Support Head of Customer Experience and Supply Chain in Internal Business Control adherence as well as external business systems compliance (FSC Chain of Custody and ISO 9001:2015)
  • Produce, monitor, and make recommendations on departmental KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), including those relating to Customer Service Index (CSI), Inventory, vendor performance, quality, delivery (OTIF), and finance/budget
  • Produce relevant management information, including reports, as required (including weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis)
Requirements:
  • Ability to translate complex data into simple to understand information
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • IT literate (advanced Microsoft Office), with proven experience in an ERP background
  • Experience of SAP, MRP, and Business Intelligence reporting essential
  • Full driving license
