Overview
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing comprehensive support to our management team, ensuring effective handling of HR casework and general employee relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver precise and timely advice to all stakeholders involved.
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert in areas such as absence management and disciplinary procedures.
- Design and implement training programs to enhance the skills of Line Managers regarding policies and employment legislation.
- Foster strong relationships with Trade Union representatives and key stakeholders.
- Guide Line Managers in the execution of initiatives and processes related to casework.
- Contribute to the development of new policies affecting HR case management.
- Participate in departmental consultative forums to support ongoing discussions.
Qualifications for Success
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Proven HR experience with complex case management.
- In-depth knowledge of current employment law.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business requirements.
- CIPD qualification is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with Trade Unions and understanding partnership agreements is advantageous.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage a significant workload effectively.
