Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Randstad Construction and Property. As a key member of our commercial team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with providing cost and commercial management support to project teams
  • Work closely with senior members of the commercial team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development of commercial strategies and proposals
  • Provide support with tendering and contract administration

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and a thorough understanding of cost management
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Passion for construction and a desire to excel in your career
