Job Title: Interim Finance Business Partner

Finatal is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to support a PE-backed entertainment business in London. This role will be pivotal in driving growth and transformation, providing M&A assistance and operational efficiency across the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • M&A Support: Assist with due diligence, financial modeling, and integration planning for potential acquisitions.
  • Collaborate with the CFO: Evaluate acquisition opportunities and post-deal integration with the CFO and private equity investors.
  • Financial Analysis: Provide detailed financial analysis to support M&A decision-making and ensure successful execution.
  • Operational Efficiency: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement operational improvements, including cost optimization, process improvements, and system upgrades.
  • KPI Reporting: Develop and refine KPI reporting and performance tracking to drive efficiency across departments.
  • Working Capital: Lead initiatives to improve working capital, cash flow, and profitability.
  • Business Partnering: Act as a key liaison between finance and operations, providing strategic insights to support growth initiatives and financial targets.
  • Financial Forecasting: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and PE expectations.
Requirements:
  • Fully Qualified Accountant: ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification with a strong background in financial analysis and business partnering.
  • Private Equity Experience: Proven experience working in private equity-backed businesses, ideally within the entertainment or media sectors.
  • M&A Experience: Significant exposure to M&A processes, including due diligence, financial modeling, and post-acquisition integration.
  • Operational Efficiency: Demonstrable experience in driving operational efficiency and process improvement initiatives.
