About the Role:

The Trafford & Stockport College Group is seeking an experienced and passionate Lecturer - Hairdressing to join our Hair and Beauty team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a range of Hairdressing and Beauty courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver all aspects of the curriculum on a range of full-time and part-time programmes.
  • Provide high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment across a range of Hairdressing and Beauty courses.
  • Work with Post 16 students and adults to develop their knowledge and skills to a high standard.
  • Contribute to the development of the Hair and Beauty team and the college's overall vision and mission.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Hairdressing or Beauty and at least Level 2 in the other subject.
  • QTS / QLTS / Certificate of Teaching.
  • Assessors award.
  • Demonstrate outstanding achievement delivering a hair and beauty course.
  • An excellent knowledge of relevant curriculum areas, including an understanding of assessment, monitoring, and how students make progress.
  • Ambitious for self and students and an effective communicator.
  • The ability to meet deadlines and to build working partnerships with parents.
  • A commitment to abide by and promote all college policies.
  • Self-motivated and well-organized.
  • Commitment to further professional development.
