Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive strategic plan for the execution of each project, collaborating with the Director of Projects or a Senior Project Manager, the business development team, and internal department heads to allocate project teams across all relevant disciplines, including mechanical design, electrical design, control systems, manufacturing, on-site delivery, and commissioning.
  • Lead project teams to establish solutions, timelines, and budgets.
  • Engage with clients to define clear project scope, schedule, and contractual obligations, managing the project in accordance with these agreements, and negotiating any necessary changes with support from the Director of Projects or a Senior Project Manager and Contracts Manager.
  • Ensure accurate project budgeting, addressing any discrepancies in costs with relevant sales and directors, and revising budgets in response to client requests while communicating changes to all impacted parties.
  • Maintain regular communication with site teams to ensure that work is conducted safely and according to the established plan, addressing feedback and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Conduct site visits as necessary to monitor progress.
  • Oversee project cash flow, ensuring that purchasing is managed to minimize cash outflow while maximizing income realization.
  • Adhere to existing business processes and contribute to their enhancement.

Qualifications
  • A degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of the stage and/or spectaculars industry.
  • Experience in budget management.
  • Prior experience in a project management capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing staff.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in MS Office.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with all levels of management.
