English Specialist Job Description

**Job Details**

Prospero Teaching is seeking an English Specialist to join a reputable secondary school in Wakefield. This is a long-term supply position, requiring a qualified teacher with experience working in a UK school.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Teach English to students in a secondary school setting
* Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
* Assess student progress and provide feedback
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic goals

**Requirements**

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Previous experience working in a UK school
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training
* GCSE English and Maths grade 'C' or '4' & above
* English related degree

**Eligibility**

* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
