Job Title: Registered General Nurse - Neurological Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered General Nurse to join our team at a prestigious private hospital in Ledbury, Herefordshire, which specializes in neurological complex care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough health assessments and evaluations to provide high-quality care to patients with neuro-related health conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualized care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Administer medications and monitor their effects, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
  • Provide support and counseling to patients and their families, promoting a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Respond to psychiatric emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed, working effectively in a team environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
  • Licensure: Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a mental health setting is essential.
  • Skills: Strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to work effectively in a team, strong organizational and time management skills, empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care.
Working Conditions:
  • Hours: Flexible hours, may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Environment: Hospital setting with exposure to patients with various mental health conditions.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving patients, and standing for long periods.
