Maintenance Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee our maintenance functions. This role is focused on ensuring the efficiency of our production processes. We are seeking a results-oriented individual with a strong background in maintenance management and excellent leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
As the Maintenance Operations Manager, you will be accountable for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) and aligning with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities.
- Implementing a zero downtime philosophy, reducing unexpected interruptions through best practices and innovative solutions.
- Organizing maintenance meetings to coordinate all maintenance-related tasks.
- Mentoring the team on maintenance best practices and methodologies.
- Supporting the application of expert maintenance systems and contributing to team maintenance strategies.
- Managing the maintenance management information system, including technical databases and relevant software.
- Leading initiatives for breakdown reduction and cost efficiency.
- Ensuring maintenance quality standards and monitoring performance metrics.
- Developing a long-term asset maintenance plan, including investment strategies and sustainability initiatives.
- Overseeing performance management processes and ensuring accountability within the department.
Candidate Profile
- A natural leader dedicated to team development and coaching.
- Demonstrated experience in heavy industry, manufacturing, or process management.
- Proficient in reading schematic diagrams and technical documentation.
- Competent in IT applications, including MS Office and maintenance management systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders to achieve project goals.
