Job Title: M&E Building Services Surveyor – Residential Major Works Refurbishment

We are seeking a skilled M&E Building Services Surveyor to join our team at Falmouth Fairfax. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the mechanical and electrical aspects of residential major works refurbishment projects in Central London.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building services engineering, with experience in condition surveying and refurbishment projects. You will work closely with our programme management team to define project scope and assess work requirements for circa £10 million worth of refurbishment projects per annum. Your expertise will be essential in setting up briefing and scope of works for capital programme/projects team and partnering contractors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical issues for internal and external refurbishment work, ensuring seamless delivery of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including programme managers, contractors, and residents.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of M&E systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement effective project management strategies.
Requirements:
  • Degree in building services engineering, M&E or equivalent, CIBSE qualified preferable.
  • c.5 years' experience in M&E building services and condition surveying preferably within residential stock.
  • Experience of Keystone or Orchard database would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
